I took more photos of this than I normally would because I was not sure how the purple and the cut would translate on a phone. In person, the color had more depth than it did on my monitor. In daylight it looked cleaner and a little softer; indoors it became richer and the detail showed more. What I liked most was that full-length photos still showed the shape of the outfit instead of flattening everything into one block of color. Close-up pictures picked up the cut without making it look overly sparkly. For something I would wear to an event and be photographed in, that mattered a lot to me.
