The pants are long

Fit was the part I worried about most because this is not a relaxed style. When I tried it on, I understood why the measurements matter: a small change in the waist, hip, or shoulder placement changes the whole silhouette. I liked the shape once everything lined up, and I did not want to size up just for extra room because that would have changed the look. If you are shorter, I would also pay attention to the length before deciding what shoes you plan to wear. For me, getting the proportions right mattered more than having a lot of extra space.
